Privacy policy

The short version: the tools run in your browser, nothing is recorded and nothing is uploaded.

The short version

The speaker tools run entirely in your browser. We don’t ask for an account, we don’t record audio and we don’t use tracking cookies.

When you use the tools

All tones are generated on your device with the Web Audio API. The tools never access your microphone, files or contacts, and no sound or usage data is sent to us.

What’s stored in your browser

Two small values are saved in your browser’s local storage, on your device only:

  • cms-cycles: how many cleaning cycles you’ve finished, shown back to you as a count.
  • cms-theme: whether you chose the light or dark theme.

You can delete them at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings.

Server logs

Like almost every website, our hosting server keeps standard access logs: IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These are used for security and keeping the site running.

Fonts and third parties

Fonts are served from our own server. We don’t load advertising, analytics or social media scripts at present. If that changes, we’ll update this page before it happens.

Cookies

Visitors don’t receive tracking cookies. WordPress may set functional cookies only if you log in to the site’s admin area.

Contact form

If you use the contact form, your name, email address and message are sent to us by email so we can reply. They aren’t stored in the website’s database.

Children

The site doesn’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page will change too.
